These three fine elders were our Assistants for a 'minute' before Elder Hyatt (L) completed his full time mission service and returned home. We love Elder Hyatt - forever! And we love Elder Brenchley and Elder Minson!

October 14th was a super busy day! We had these marvelous missionaries preparing to go home. We met at the mission home for a parting meeting, final interviews with President Wood and a delicious lunch prepared by our mission home assistant extraordinaire, Wendy. Our wonderful office couples and elders helped out.
It was the departing missionaries' last preparation day, so they went to St. Augustine for a few hours to put their toes in the sand at the beach and be together for a few hours.
Meanwhile, we prepared for 22 brand new missionaries arriving from the MTC that evening at the airport, feed them a scrumptious meal at the mission home prepared by, you know it, Wendy!, then brief interviews with President Wood, photos to send home, a heartfelt welcome to the mission and off safely to bed.
The next day, October 15th, we would see these beloved missionaries off to the airport as they completed their service here and headed home to their post mission lives. President Wood and I then headed straight to training the new missionaries, introducing them to their trainer companions and sending them off with boxed lunches and other missionaries also transferring to new locations in the mission. Life is good and going in the Florida Jacksonville Mission!
