We want to take a moment to express our love and gratitude to our Father in Heaven for allowing us this opportunity to serve Him in the Florida Jacksonville Mission. We have come to absolutely love the people of northern Florida and South East Georgia. Truly there are not more loving and giving people. We have experienced first hand "Southern Hospitality", it is alive and well here.
We have been embraced my the members in wonderful ways! They have been patient with us and encouraged us, and loved us! Their example to us is forever burned into our hearts! The missionaries that have been called to serve here have touched our hearts is ways we never would have imagined. What a gift it has been to see them arrive here in the mission field and then watch as this opportunity to serve has changed them. We have laughed with them, cried for them, and with them, prayed for them, encouraged them, and had to correct them once in a while. We have watched as the gift of repentance took effect in their life. We have witnessed the beauty of the Atonement in cleansing and enabling them and us. As they experienced it personally they were able to help others in their journey in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then as the day arrived when as I call it, 'they were done baking', all too fast it was time for them to return home. To see the finished product was a most amazing experience. Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us and to be able to witness this part of it in their life was so amazing. There truly are no words that describe our feelings.
We are grateful for the parents, families, friends that have loved and supported, and let these missionaries come and serve. Our prayers have constantly been for you to be blessed as those you love were gone. Thank you for all your notes, cards, letters, gifts, kind acts and your support and prayers. Truly we have felt them. We love you.
Our testimonies have grown so much, we feel so grateful to Heavenly Father for His plan.
We love our Savior, He lives and loves each of us.
Thank you again. With great love,
President and Sister Craig
