We are monitoring the tropical storm Florence which is presently tracking towards the East coast. It is anticipated to increase to hurricane status. The track of this storm will be much more defined in the next 48 hours. We have an emergency preparedness plan and coordinated effort with the area and local priesthood authorities and community emergency preparedness organizations. As needed we communicate with all our missionaries for updates, coordination and accountability. Each missionary is equipped with an emergency back pack and necessary supplies if needed. We have experienced hurricanes in the past two years which have required some evacuations
and implementation of our emergency plan. Please know that your Missionaries will be carefully watched over.
