Elder Benjamen Toney joined us today (June 15th).
He was sick last week when the rest of the group travelled to
Jacksonville, and had to stay at the MTC a few extra days
to recuperate. He will be a great addition to the mission!

The day has finally arrived, my son will step in and take one of these Elder's place in the Jacksonville, Mission. We are excited for this chapter in his life! For those missionary's who have served so well and are now closing this chapter, "Well Done thou good and faithful servants."

My son is also arriving to take over the work of these fine Elders. He was due to arrive in Jacksonville today, June 10.
We are looking forward to hearing about his experiences with the fine people of the Jacksonville area.

Thank you Sister Newman for posting the picture of the new missionaries that arrived today so quickly. My son, Elder McFarland, is one the them and it was so comforting to see his smile. He is excited to be there and we are excited for him. I just found this blog today and it was fun to look through the pictures and posts.
this is kind of a weird connection. i have a missionary in jacksonville. i work in a dental office and we get missionaries from the MTC all the time coming in with emergencies. We had elders doehler, and olsen in the office last week. it was kind of fun to see them in these pictures and even more fun to find out they were going to the florida jacksonville mission
Elder Rivera is my brother in law. His family misses him terribly already! We are so proud of him and know he will be a great missionary to the people of Jacksonville.
Elder Toney is my brother. I'm glad that he got there safe and is recovering from his illness. He looks really happy and excited in the pictures!
I see a football on the mantle. Are President and Siste Newman football fans?
