We were able to spend the weekend in the Gainesville Zone. We finished up the interviews in that zone and spent time with the members and missionaries. The work is progressing down there and the members are starting to see the vision of helping the missionaries and coming to the 'rescue' as President Monson has asked of us. It's exciting to watch.

| Sister Surtees and Sister Prettyman live in this cute little house that is just south a few blocks from the University of Florida Institute Building. They serve in the Singles Ward on campus. They are on bikes in this area and they love it and each other. |

The two elders with the bikes are companions. They are Elder McClellan and Elder Woodard. They serve in the Gainesville 5th Ward and share this apartment with Elder Knudsen and Elder Taft, pictured 2nd and 3rd from the left. Elder Knudsen and Elder Taft also serve in the Gainesville 5th Ward. The four of them share a car so they use their bikes half the time. It works well. |

| This wonderful couple is Elder and Sister Stills. They live in Cross City and serve in a little branch in that town. Cross City is the furthest west city in the mission. They are serving a proselyting mission and helping to activate less actives and baptize part member families. They are making a huge difference in this little 'deep south' community. They live in a cute trailer owned by a member. |

| Last but certainly not least in the Gainesville Zone is Elder Lewis and Elder Cox. They serve in a little town called Chiefland which is almost as far away as Cross City. There is a ward there with great members. These two are doing a great job. |
