This is probably the most exciting day of the mission. The missionaries love seeing each other and getting new assignments. Even though it's hard to leave an area where they have worked so hard and love the people.

Transfer day is a great day. We have training meetings for the new missionaries and the trainers. And a large transfer meeting with everyone in the mission invited. We teach doctrine, introduce the new missionaries, announce transfers and have the departing missionaries bear their testimonies. We feel unified and rejuvenated for the coming weeks.

Thanks for the pictures and short stories. It is pretty exciting to see pictures of our son in the field.
