Our first day of Zone Conferences was held at the Savannah Stake Center. Missionaries come from a long way for this conference. The Savannah and Kingsland Zones are big and some have to travel over 2 hours to get there. We start at 8am so they do have to get up early.
 |
SAVANNAH ZONE
It is the furthest north part of the mission and the biggest geographically. It covers part of Georgia and a small section of South Carolina. The Zone Leaders for this zone are Elder Evans and Elder Vilorio. |
 |
KINGSLAND ZONE
It covers the southern part of Georgia. The Zone Leaders are Elder Erickson and Elder Feliz. |
 |
| Fifteen minutes before the meeting starts everyone is in their place reverently studying and preparing spiritually for the day. |
Of course lunch is the greatly anticipated. The Savannah Stake Relief Society prepared our lunch. It was a wonderful Chicken Casserole with beans and salad. Thank you so much dear sisters. Fed missionaries are happy missionaries!

ROLE PLAYS
We practice the principles we are taught by assigning the investigators (missionaries) a gospel question or a need like "out of work" or "a death in the family". The missionaries then try to connect with the investigator, find out what the investigators need is through inspired questions then teach to their need through the Book of Mormon.

 |
| You can see the papers on the chairs. This gives the setting the investigator is in so the missionary can tell how to connect with them. |
